  • What is Authentic Intimacy?

    Authentic Intimacy is a unique teaching ministry devoted to teaching on God’s design for intimacy and sexuality. Our vision is represented by two words that are rarely put together: sexual discipleship. Practically everyone, young and old, single and married, has experienced pain, shame, and confusion related to sexuality. We want men and women to understand God’s purpose and redemption related to their sexuality. As a ministry, we disciple by consistently applying God’s Truth to all questions, pain, and joys related to sexuality and intimacy. We believe that God intentionally created us as sexual beings, that every sexual choice is a spiritual choice, that sexuality is a powerful metaphor, and that Satan intentionally works to destroy the holy expression of sexuality.

  • I want to go through this course with a group of people, can I do that?

    Our courses are designed and priced for one user per purchased course. If you wish to go through the course with a group, consider doing one of our cohorts (link) or email [email protected] to inquire about closed groups.

  • How long will I have access to my course?

    You will have access for 18 months.

  • Once I complete a section, can I go back and revisit it?

    Yes, you can revisit each section as many times as you like during your 12-month access period.

  • Is the course credentialed?

    The e-courses are certified through Moody Bible Institute. God, Sexuality, and You, and God, Sex, and Your Marriage, are not credentialed.

  • How do I get my completion certificate?

    After completion of our Moody Enrich E-Courses, you will be provided a link where you can get your certificate. The cost for the certificate is $15.

  • How can I get Christ-centered counseling as a follow-up to this resource?

    We believe Christian counseling is a powerful tool that God can use to help individuals and couples work through difficult times and find healing from past wounds. It’s hard work, but so worth the effort! While we don’t offer counseling or make referrals to specific counselors, please check out Focus on the Family and their network of Christian counselors. End-User License Agreement

Authentic Intimacy (“AI”) provides End Users (“You”) a license to use AI Digital Content only under the terms of this License Agreement.

By purchasing or being granted access to AI’s Digital Content, You agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this License Agreement and accept this License Agreement.

Digital Content from AI’s online shop is licensed to You for use only under the specific terms of this License Agreement. 


THE DIGITAL CONTENT

The Digital Content includes all small group curriculum, webinar recordings, Java Packs, conference recordings, and any other Digital Content sold through AI’s shop.


SCOPE OF LICENSE

2.1 You are given a non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to watch the Digital Content on any devices that You own or control.

2.2 You may not share the Digital Content in part or in full on the internet, including on any social media platform. 

2.3 You may not share the Digital Content with others except under these conditions:

Curriculum: Curriculum videos may be shared with small groups of no more than 20 individuals.

Corporate Licenses: Any Digital Content that has been purchased under a Corporate License may be shared in groups larger than 20 individuals.

Written Permission: Any other exceptions must have written permission from AI before sharing.

2.4 You may not copy or alter the Digital Content. You may create and store copies for backup only on devices that You own. You may not remove any intellectual property notices. You acknowledge that no unauthorized third parties may gain access to these copies at any time. If You sell Your devices to a third party, You must remove the Digital Content from the devices before doing so.

2.5 AI reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this License Agreement.

4. APPLICABLE LAW

This License Agreement is governed by the laws of Ohio, USA.


MISCELLANEOUS

5.1 If any of the terms of this agreement should be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Invalid terms will be replaced by valid ones formulated in a way that will achieve the primary purpose.

5.2 Collateral agreements, changes, or amendments are only valid if captured in writing and signed by an authorized AI representative.

Refund Policy

Sales of digital materials, including curricula, cohorts, courses, Online Book Studies, and any facilitator guides are final and are not refundable.

Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Authentic Intimacy does not collect personally identifiable information on authenticintimacy.com unless you voluntarily provide such information about yourself via signing up for an account, subscribing to an email list, sending an electronic mail message, or filling out one of our online forms. On our website, you can sign up to be a member, purchase products, register for events, subscribe to one of our services such as our online newsletter, comment, and participate in online groups. The types of personally identifiable information that may be collected at these pages include: name, age, address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card information, and information about your interests.

We may passively collect certain kinds of non-personally identifiable information that reveal the frequency with which you visit the site, the times and dates of your visits, the pages you reviewed, your purchase/payment history, products/services that you view, persons with whom you interact, and other information (collectively, “Passive Information”). Passive Information is collected through various means. We may use Internet protocol (IP) addresses to administer the site. We may use navigational data, including domain information, to identify information about your web browser and operating system and the time period in which you visit the site. We also may use a third-party tracking service that uses tracking technologies to track Passive Information about visitors to our site in the aggregate. This information is used to administer the site, report usage metrics, and otherwise operate and improve the site content.

Like many Internet sites, this site may use small text files called “cookies” that are sent to the hard drive of your computer to store bits of information related to your use of the site. Cookies can store a variety of information, including IP addresses, navigational data, server information, data transfer times, user preferences, and passwords needed to access the site. The “Help” section of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have your browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to configure your browser to reject cookies altogether. However, if you disable cookies, you might not be able to access important functions or features of the site, and your use of the site may be limited.


Information about payments

If you use our website for purchases or financial transactions (like when you buy something, register for an event, make a donation, or any financial transaction), we collect information about the purchase or transaction. Authentic Intimacy does not store credit card or financial data for transactions. All transactions on our website are managed through third-party payment processors. 

When you engage in an online payment transaction, we will facilitate the transfer of your name, address, credit card details, and purchase amount as necessary for the third party to provide that service. Credit card information is collected by our PCI-compliant third-party payment processors (via web-portals they maintain and control) and are transmitted over a secure encrypted connection and stored in a datacenter until the transaction is completed, at which point it is removed unless you have requested to store your credit card details securely with the credit card processor for future transactions. To the extent your personal information is transmitted to the previously referenced third-party service providers, each of their own privacy policies and data security policies will also apply to such Personal Information.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address, and credit card information.


How the information you provide is used

We may use the information you provide about yourself to fulfill your requests for our products, programs, and services, to respond to your inquiries about our offerings, and to offer you other products, programs or services that we believe may be of interest to you. However, your information will never be sold to any third party.

Through the information we collect, we are also able to deliver our services, personalize content, and make suggestions for you by understanding how you use and interact with our website and products. 

Should you send us your comments or questions via email to any email address provided on our website, we will only share your communications with our employees or agents most capable of addressing your questions and concerns. We will retain your communication until we have done our very best to provide you with a complete and satisfactory response and then we will either discard it or, in some cases, archive it. We will only disclose personal information if we are required to do so by law or we in good faith believe that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with legal process; (2) protect and defend our rights and property; (3) protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the website; or (4) protect the personal safety or property of our users or the public. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information you may provide without your consent.


Promoting safety and security

We use the information we have to help verify accounts and activity and to promote safety and security on and off of our website, including in any hosted event, online group, or other activity. We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies.

If you use any of the links on this website to link to other sites not maintained by Authentic Intimacy, know that such sites are not under the ownership or control of our organization. Accordingly, we can make no representation concerning the quality, safety, or suitability of the content of any sites outside our control. This privacy policy applies only to information collected by or obtainable through this website. 


Managing or deleting information about yourself

You have a right to correct, amend, or delete any personal information that Authentic Intimacy has collected through your requests as described above. You may also change the status of whether you wish to receive Authentic Intimacy communications, notifications, or newsletters. If at any time you wish to exercise these rights, contact Authentic Intimacy at [email protected].


If you created a paid or free account on the website, you can delete it at any time. Keep in mind that information that others have shared about you is not part of your account and will not be deleted when you delete your account. Content you share within a community becomes property of that community according to the terms and conditions set by each community you elect to become a member of. Each of your communities may download and/or use your content (provided by you in that community) at their discretion (as noted in their terms of use).  


Modification to this Privacy Policy

Authentic Intimacy reserves the right to make changes to these terms (or other terms referenced in or incorporated by this Policy) at any time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to this page. Any such changes will become effective as of the date of the posted changes. 

By using this website, you signify your agreement to the terms of our Privacy Policy and subsequent changes and updates to these terms. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not disclose any personal information through this website.
